I already have a good foundation in marketing, especially traditional marketing, but for a start-up, even in roles like customer support or administrative support, it's important to also have a solid understanding of product marketing. For administrative support, understanding product positioning helps us prioritise tasks that align with business goals. As customer support, we sit at the intersection of the user and the product, acting as a bridge between them, and learning about product marketing helps support agents understand user pain points, communicate value clearly, improve onboarding, and provide meaningful insights back to the team. This turns support from merely solving problems into contributing to the product's growth and user retention. Don't worry I am a very fast learner and what I don't understand? I ask questions for clarity. I will come back tomorrow again to share my new piece of knowledge and also my design 😁
