I've been unwell. The past few months were intense, and by the end of April, I was exhausted from everything that had been going on. Despite that, I found myself thinking about multipotentialism, and I watched a podcast by Salem and Adaora Lumina. They are creators I genuinely respect because they have built a strong, globally relevant brand. Their work does not feel localized. It resonates across different regions and audiences, which is rare. What stands out most is their storytelling and articulation. During the conversation, they addressed whether it is necessary to niche down or acceptable to explore multiple creative paths. Adaora explained that it depends on the individual. Some people operate better with focus, narrowing down to one thing and scaling it. Others struggle with restriction and need room to explore different interests. The key point was permission. You are allowed to explore. Salem extended this further by challenging the idea of rigid norms. If overthinking structure is preventing you from starting, then the priority is to start. Not from zero to one, but from zero to 0.1. Lower the barrier. He also introduced a structured way to think about growth: reverse engineering. Define what you want to become in five years, then break it down. What leads to that outcome in one year? Then six months. Then now. It becomes a sequence rather than an abstract goal. As for my health, I am recovering, but I need a long vacation. Egypt, perhaps.
