It's over. AI will take your job.
It's not a matter of maybe. It's already happening.
The work that used to require 10 people, now requires one. The sad part is that developers are already feeling it. But even if you are not a developer, don't get comfortable because you're in marketing, sales, or creative work. AI is not coming for specific industries. It is coming for specific levels of skill. And it will get to everyone.
If you're sitting there thinking your job is safe, then you are either not paying attention or you are really exceptional at what you do.
And if it's the second one, then you might already know what I'm about to say.
Like I said, AI is not going for specific industries, it is going for everybody. But there are three positions that will be the safest.
The first are those who are irreplaceable.
When a company replaces ten people with one, the person they can't replace is the one I'm referring to. And that's because their skill level is exceptional that they cannot be dropped.
The second category of people are the builders (founders).
They are not even waiting to be replaced by those who are exceptional, they are building their own thing. The AI tools that are displacing people right now were built by individuals, and they are the people who are now making more money than the jobs those tools replaced. If you understand the problem deeply enough, you can build the solution.
And the third is the adapter.
Not everyone needs to be exceptional or a founder. But if you have technical knowledge and haven't tried vibe coding yet, you are seriously wasting time and skill. Companies are already hiring for such roles and the barrier is lower than you think.
So, AI is not the problem. Being average in the age of AI is the real issue.
Decide which of the three you are going to be. Then start working it out now.
